Animantica Etna Rosso DOC by Animaetnea is made in Sicily and expresses the character of Mount Etna through the Nerello Mascalese grape. This red wine shows a bright ruby-garnet colour and an open, finely defined aromatic profile. The nose reveals notes of strawberry, raspberry and blood orange, followed by stony and earthy nuances that underline its distinctive origin.

On the palate, it is juicy and fruit-driven, supported by intense, firm tannins. The finish is full-bodied, focused and persistent, combining freshness with structure and depth. Animantica is an excellent choice for those looking to discover an expressive Etna Rosso with a strong sense of place. Enjoy it with savoury Sicilian dishes, roasted meats, mushrooms, aged cheeses or grilled vegetables. Its balanced fruit character and decisive structure make it suitable for relaxed meals as well as more refined occasions.

The official website and industry articles highlight historic vineyards on lava terraces in Passopisciaro and an initial production centered on four wines.
