In the glass it opens with a warm, enveloping weave, typical of a mature Armagnac: notes of dried plum and figs, candied orange peel and a dusting of sweet spices that emerge without overpowering. The 1975 vintage is evident in the complexity and finesse of the aromas, with hints of toasted dried fruit and a touch of honey alternating with a memory of leather. The wood is present but integrated, also bringing a nuance of tobacco and vanilla; the whole remains elegant and balanced.

On the palate it shows roundness and depth, with a progression that favors length over immediacy; residual freshness and a mineral trace keep the finish lively and saline. It is an Armagnac for contemplation, ideal as a digestif or paired with dark chocolate and aged cheeses; serve in a tulip glass at a slightly cool temperature to appreciate the returning aromas. The 70 cl bottle, boxed, is suited both to a personal tasting and as a refined gift for those who love spirits rich in history.
