Fratelli Borgogno presents the Barbera d'Alba DOC 2025, an immediate wine with character. The color is bright ruby, on the nose it opens with well‑ripe red and black fruits — cherry and plum — with floral hints and a subtle spiciness that doesn’t overpower. On the palate the typical Barbera freshness is confirmed: lively acidity, a savory texture and medium body that supports the sip without weighing it down, while the tannins are clean and well‑polished. The balance leans toward drinkability but with good flavor persistence.

It’s a wine that works well both as an everyday table companion and for more refined informal occasions; it pairs naturally with cured meats, grilled meat mains and semi‑aged cheeses, but also stands up to flavorful first courses. Serve around 16–18°C and open a few minutes beforehand to allow the aromas to open. It’s a Barbera that speaks clearly: energy, drinkability and personality, without excess, for those seeking a versatile, straightforward wine.
