This wine is the fruit of one of the best vineyards in Rocchetta Tanaro, planted on medium-composition soil that combines sand and clay. These conditions favor the production of a wine with an extraordinarily intense aromatic and taste profile. In the cellar, the must ferments with a long maceration on the skins which lasts 20 days. The production process is completed with a prolonged maturation of 15 months in barrique, followed by a further 12 months of refinement. This contributes significantly to the balance and distinctive aromatic richness of this Barbera.

The color appears as a ruby red with violet reflections.

The scent is opulent, intense and persistent, with a notable evolution, revealing notes of liquorice, violet, plum and vanilla.

Fruity and spicy nuances emerge on the palate ranging from toasted to spicy, all in a particularly harmonious, vigorous and intense balance. The overall richness of the profile is enriched by the spices that envelop the succulent pulp of the ripe plum, giving an enveloping and powerful sensation.

It is the perfect accompaniment for roast meats, game and game dishes, and hard cheeses.
