The Barolo DOCG by Bricco dei Guazzi is a refined and complex expression of Piedmont’s renowned wine region. Made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine displays an intense garnet-red colour that develops brick-red hues with age.

On the nose, it offers a broad, enveloping bouquet, with dark-fruit notes of plum and black cherry, complemented by hints of dried flowers, tobacco, sweet spices and a subtle balsamic touch. This aromatic symphony is the result of meticulous fermentation and extended ageing in oak barrels, which bring out the wine’s complexity.

On the palate, the Barolo by Bricco dei Guazzi stands out for its robust structure and pronounced yet silky tannins, which promise harmonious development over time. Full-bodied and enveloping, it has a pleasingly long finish that echoes the fruity and spicy notes found on the nose, culminating in an elegant, lingering finish with a delicate hint of liquorice and cocoa.

This Barolo is an ideal match for hearty dishes such as roasts, game and mature cheeses. To fully appreciate its qualities, decant the wine at least an hour before serving and serve at 18–20°C. A perfect choice for special occasions and for anyone seeking a superior-class wine capable of delivering unforgettable moments.

Winery history
