Barolo DOCG - Ravera - Vietti is a wine that testifies to the high quality and profound expression of the terroir offered by the renowned Vietti winery, located in the heart of the Langhe, in Piedmont. This label comes specifically from the MGA (Additional Geographical Mention) of Ravera, one of the most prestigious and appreciated areas for the production of Barolo, characterized by calcareous soils and marl which give the wine extraordinary complexity, elegance and aging capacity.
The Vietti family, for generations, has been dedicated to the production of high quality wines, interpreting the potential of the different Barolo crus with passion and innovation. Their Barolo Ravera is the result of careful work in the vineyard and precise vinification, aimed at enhancing the unique characteristics of the Nebbiolo coming from this specific area.
At sight, Vietti's Barolo Ravera has an intense garnet red color, typical of Nebbiolo-based wines. On the nose, it opens with a complex and inviting bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit, dried flowers, tobacco and spices, enriched with mineral and earthy nuances that reflect the expression of the Ravera soil.
On the palate, the wine offers a robust structure, supported by solid but elegant tannins and a well-balanced acidity, which gives freshness and vitality to the sip. The aromatic complexity perceived on the nose is also found in the mouth, with an evolution that leads to a long and persistent finish, marked by notes of ripe fruit and a light aftertaste of chocolate and coffee, evidence of the aging in wood.
Barolo DOCG Ravera - Vietti is a wine that pairs perfectly with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, game, mushroom-based dishes and mature cheeses. Its structure and complexity also make it ideal for special occasions or to be kept in the cellar, where it can continue to evolve and be enriched with new nuances for many years.
