An intriguing Barolo produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes that originates from the elegance of the La Morra vineyard and the power of the Serralunga vineyard. The grapes coming from the individual vineyards complete the fermentation, maceration and aging processes separately, in wood for 12 months. We then proceed to assembly and further maturation in wood for 18 months.

The olfactory examination reveals a varied and rich bouquet, defined by balsamic hints blended with floral aromas and small red fruits. In the glass it presents itself with a garnet red color with orange reflections; an enveloping sip that reveals a solid and persistent structure on the palate, a superb expression of two great Barolo terroirs.

An excellent wine to pair with first courses seasoned with tasty sauces, platters of well-matured cheeses, game, roasts, grilled and stewed meat.

Winery history
The Gaja family has been present in the Langhe since the second half of the 19th century; the estate, established in the community of Barbaresco, became internationally renowned thanks to its modernization choices and the bottling of wines from individual vineyards. In the 1960s and 1970s Angelo Gaja introduced single-vineyard labels and experimented with techniques and grape varieties new to the area. Over time the estate has expanded beyond the heart of the Langhe with investments and holdings in other Italian regions.
Production philosophy
Pursuit of quality through the enhancement of individual crus, direct management of the grapes, technical improvements in the vineyard and winery, and a focus on balancing tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and historic vineyards in the Langhe, in the municipality of Barbaresco; the portfolio also includes estates and projects outside the region.
Awards and recognitions
