Garofoli 12YO is a brandy with a measured presence and good depth, revealing a warm, composed aromatic profile. On the nose it shows notes of ripe dried fruit, a hint of honey and light toasted nuances that support the complexity without weighing it down. The intensity is elegant, the nose clean: it doesn't aim for showy effects but for a balanced whole, inviting a relaxed appreciation of its quality. The texture combines structure and finesse, offering a balance that will please both slow-sipping enthusiasts and those looking for a spirit to pair simply.

On the palate it displays roundness and a velvety texture; the alcohol is well integrated and provides warmth without upsetting the sip. The body is substantial, the persistence discreet and pleasant, with echoes of dried fruit, a touch of spice and a slightly almond-like finish. It lends itself to contemplative drinking at the end of a meal, accompanied by dark chocolate or aged cheeses, and is equally well received served at moderate temperature in a tulip glass. A small ice cube can further open up its aromas without compromising its balance.

Garofoli is a historic winery from the Marche that, in addition to wines, offers a small selection of distillates made from grapes and pomace from its own productions: grappa (white and aged) and a brandy aged over 12 years.
