The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO from Poggio Landi represents an excellence in the panorama of Italian wines, produced in one of the most prestigious wine regions of Tuscany. This Magnum variant, with its capacity of 1.5 liters, is ideal for special occasions and is a valuable exemplar for wine enthusiasts.

Originating from organic cultivations, where the use of chemicals is strictly limited to preserve the authenticity and health of the soil and vines, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO from Poggio Landi expresses the pure essence of its territory. The carefully selected Sangiovese grapes, after the harvest, are left to ferment and mature for an extended period in oak barrels, following a tradition that ensures the development of a rich and complex bouquet.

In terms of tasting, this Brunello stands out for its intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections as it ages. On the nose, it offers deep aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, enriched by spicy and balsamic notes that testify to its evolution in the barrel. On the palate, the wine is extraordinarily balanced, with a robust yet refined tannic structure and a persistent finish leaving memories of tobacco and dark chocolate.

This Brunello di Montalcino is perfect to serve with rich and flavorful dishes such as meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It is also a wine that can be safely stored in the cellar, as it is capable of evolving and improving for many years to come.

The Magnum version is particularly appreciated not only for the tasting experience but also as a prestigious collection item or to add a touch of elegance to celebratory moments.

Discover the story and wines of Poggio Landi.

Winery in Montalcino (SI) focused on producing Brunello, Brunello Riserva and Rosso di Montalcino; vineyards are distributed across several crus in the area and are managed under organic certification.
Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese (Sangiovese Grosso)
Approximately 60 hectares of vineyards, part of which is dedicated to Brunello. Wines made from Sangiovese grosso: Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and the cru "Chiuso del Lupo". Vineyards located between 175 and 550 m above sea level, with varied exposures and soils that ensure a diversity of sensory profiles. Management declared as organic-certified, with an approach designed to respect the terroir. Part of the ABFV project, along with other Tuscan estates.
Winery history
Poggio Landi is a wine project located in the Torrenieri area of Montalcino. The estate is part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards group, which brings together several Tuscan estates. The property has developed facilities including Villa Belvedere, the winery and a wine shop with a panoramic terrace, combining production with wine tourism hospitality.
Production philosophy
Production aims to enhance the territory and the biodiversity of the different exposures: wines with character that favor Sangiovese grosso, certified organic practices and winemaking techniques focused on expressing the cru.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the north‑eastern part of the Montalcino area, the estate harvests grapes from vineyards situated at approximately 175 to 550 metres above sea level. Soils are predominantly clayey; the variation in altitude and exposure is one of the factors used to obtain different Sangiovese profiles.
