Let’s talk about Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley - Silver Oak

More questions

This Cabernet Sauvignon Alexander Valley from Silver Oak shows a deep ruby color and an aromatic profile dominated by ripe dark fruits, blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by light cherry and herbal notes. The nose also reveals hints of black pepper and sweet spices, while the palate offers enveloping tannins and a savory structure that supports a long, pleasant finish. The overall impression is of a concentrated yet balanced wine, with good intensity and a persistence that invites exploration of its nuances over time.

It pairs naturally with grilled red meats, braises and aged cheeses, but can also stand up to mushroom dishes and savory ragùs. To best appreciate its perfume and structure, serve at around 16–18 °C and consider a short decanting for younger bottles to soften the tannins. Ideal for informal dinners and occasions when you want a wine with a commanding yet measured character.

The story
Terroir and vineyards
