The Brut Premier by Roederer is a champagne that encapsulates the essence of refinement and excellence. Produced by the historic Louis Roederer house, founded in 1776 and located in Reims, at the heart of the Champagne region, this sparkling wine is the result of meticulous selection of grapes from over 40 different parcels.

The Brut Premier is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier, perfectly harmonizing richness and complexity with freshness and liveliness. The grapes are delicately pressed and the must fermented in both wooden and stainless steel vats to preserve the varietal characteristics. Subsequently, the champagne ages on the lees for at least three years in the maison's chalky cellars, acquiring a creamy texture and subtle notes of toasted bread.

Visually, the Brut Premier showcases a brilliant golden color and a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it surprises with its aromatic intensity, with notes of ripe fruit such as peach and green apple, alongside nuances of almond and yeast. On the palate, it is lively and structured, with an excellent balance between citrus freshness and creamy texture. The finish is long and delicately mineral, with a lingering aftertaste that invites another sip.

This champagne is ideal as an aperitif but has the structure to accompany light appetizers, fish, and seafood. Perfect for celebrating special occasions, the Brut Premier by Roederer represents a timeless classic that elegantly expresses the art of French champagne.

Country: Francia
Founded: 1776
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
Prestige cuvée Cristal, created in 1876. Historic headquarters in Reims, the heart of Champagne. Approximately 240 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, covering most of the estate's needs. Growing commitment to organic and biodynamic practices. Annual production on the order of a few million bottles.
Winery history
The house dates back to the 18th century and took the name of its heir, Louis Roederer, in the 19th century; it became internationally renowned and in 1876 created its flagship cuvée, Cristal, at the request of Tsar Alexander II. Over time the Maison has expanded its vineyard holdings and consolidated a production model based on a significant proportion of estate-grown grapes and extended cellar ageing.
Production philosophy
Strong focus on grape control, parcel-based vinification and enhancement of the terroir; in recent years the estate has pursued low environmental impact practices, converting to organic farming and placing portions of its vineyards under biodynamic management, as well as maturation techniques aimed at preserving freshness and terroir expression.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and cellars in Reims; vineyards spread across the main Champagne areas, particularly Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs, with integrated sourcing from selected suppliers.
