On the nose there are sensations of green apple and lemon, accompanied by light touches of bread crust and almond, without excess: the freshness is clear and the saline element keeps the sip slim yet flavorful. The overall impression is one of balance between precision and softness, with a well-calibrated acid-mineral texture.

On the palate it confirms its refined character, with a chalky texture that supports a good gustatory progression; it drinks smoothly, with citrus returns and a clean, persistent finish. Winery history

The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.

Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
