The Champagne Grande Cuvée from Krug, presented in a gift box, reflects the house approach to a signature sparkling. In the glass it shows fine perlage and a complex aromatic profile: freshly baked bread, light honeyed notes, ripe fruit and citrus, with hints of dried fruit and white flowers. On the palate it is harmonious, supported by measured freshness that balances softer impressions, with an elegant persistence that invites another sip.

It works well as an aperitif but also pairs with fish and shellfish dishes, as well as soft cheeses. The boxed presentation makes it a practical choice for a gift or special occasion. Serve in tulip or flute glasses, well chilled at around 8–10 °C; avoid temperatures that are too low which can mute the aromas. Store in a cool, stable place until opening. Suited to those seeking a refined, elegant and characterful sparkling.
