Rosé of a beautiful luminous salmon color, this Champagne Rosé de Saignée Brut from Daniel Leclerc shows a character focused on substance and freshness. On the nose it reveals a profile of ripe red fruits and crisp cherry, supported by citrus notes and a light mineral streak; the bubbles are fine and compact, giving the sip a vibrant texture. The acidity is lively but integrated, the structure balanced: the result is a dry, savory wine with good depth and a pleasant persistence without being overbearing.

On the palate it confirms the assertive saignée approach, with a sensation of juice and pulp that holds up well against rounder structures; barely perceptible tannins provide grip without roughness. It suits dishes that demand body and freshness together — fish tartare, grilled shellfish, smoked salmon or not-too-complex tomato-based dishes — but it also stands up well as an aperitif. Serve chilled in a flute or tulip glass to appreciate the perlage and the aromatic progression.
