Château La Trotte Vieille 2022 is a red wine from Saint-Emilon that shows a measured profile and respects the character of the young vintage. In the glass it appears with a moderate ruby colour; on the nose there are aromas of ripe red and black fruits, light spice notes and an earthy nuance that accompanies the bouquet without intrusion. On the palate the entry is balanced, with tannins present but not aggressive and good acidity that supports the structure, while the persistence is of medium intensity.

Serve slightly cool from the cellar, decanting if preferred to open the aromas; it pairs easily with dishes of red meat, roasts and semi‑firm cheeses. The wine is suitable to drink young to enjoy the vintage freshness or to keep for a few years in the cellar if a greater integration of tannins is desired. Suited to informal occasions and the everyday table, it offers a frank and unpretentious experience.
