The Chateau Pinchon Longueville Comptesse de Lalande 2023 Grand Cru Classe from Pauillac presents a restrained, measured profile. In the glass it shows a deep ruby color with purple highlights; on the nose there are impressions of compact red and black fruits, light spice notes and a hint of undergrowth. The palate is focused, with present but smooth tannins, balanced acidity and a structure that supports the material well. The finish is clean and persistent, without excess, echoing the same aromatic shades.

This is a wine that rewards attentive tasting and can be enjoyed now with some decanting or may develop further in the cellar. It pairs with grilled red meats, braised dishes and aged cheeses; it can accompany mushroom-based dishes or rich sauces. Serve at around 16–18 °C and use a wide glass to appreciate its complexity.
