In the glass it opens with a web of fine bubbles and a creamy texture that immediately wraps the palate. The aromas recall ripe green apple, peeled citrus and a delicate note of freshly baked bread; all supported by lively freshness and a salinity that defines its character. The style remains one of clear elegance, without excess, intended for those who seek precision and harmony more than power. It is a measured expression of Franciacorta DOCG, able to combine freshness and creaminess without losing vitality.
On the palate it is fresh and vertical, with a well-balanced body and a softness that does not cancel the acidic tension; the finish is persistent and leaves an impression of cleanliness that invites the next sip. Excellent both as an aperitif and paired with raw seafood, fish risottos or medium-mature cheeses; ideal for convivial moments and refined menus. Serve chilled, around 6–8 °C, to appreciate its finesse and overall balance.

The story
The estate’s winemaking origins are linked to the noble Della Gherardesca family (vineyards since the late 17th century). The property entered the Antinori holdings in the 1930s; the estate’s modern winemaking development took place from the late 1980s–1990s. First documented vintage of Vermentino at the estate: 1996.
Production philosophy
To express the Bolgheri terroir through parcel selection, experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and practices focused on quality and respect for the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Bolgheri DOC (Upper Maremma) on a plain encircled by gentle hills known as the “Bolgheri Amphitheatre.” Climate is moderated by sea breezes; alluvial soils range from sandy-clay to silty-clay with fine gravel (Bolgheri agglomerate), influencing the character of varieties grown (Cabernet, Merlot, Vermentino, etc.).
