Pale pink with salmon highlights, it shows a fine, persistent perlage that invites the first sip. On the nose it offers a gentle, flowing profile: notes of ripe strawberry and raspberry, citrus nuances and a hint of white flowers, accompanied by a slight bread-crust sensation that adds complexity without weighing it down. The overall impression is elegant, well balanced between freshness and aromatic delicacy, ideal for those seeking a rosé with character but not overpowering.
On the palate the sip is savory and dynamic, with a pleasant acidity that supports the softness and brings harmony. The texture is enveloping yet dry, with good persistence and a pleasant fruity trail that returns on the finish. Naturally suited to aperitifs, fish and shellfish, white meats and fresh cheeses; serve well chilled to appreciate its freshness and finesse.

The story
The estate’s winemaking origins are linked to the noble Della Gherardesca family (vineyards since the late 17th century). The property entered the Antinori holdings in the 1930s; the estate’s modern winemaking development took place from the late 1980s–1990s. First documented vintage of Vermentino at the estate: 1996.
Production philosophy
To express the Bolgheri terroir through parcel selection, experimentation in the vineyard and cellar, and practices focused on quality and respect for the territory.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Bolgheri DOC (Upper Maremma) on a plain encircled by gentle hills known as the “Bolgheri Amphitheatre.” Climate is moderated by sea breezes; alluvial soils range from sandy-clay to silty-clay with fine gravel (Bolgheri agglomerate), influencing the character of varieties grown (Cabernet, Merlot, Vermentino, etc.).
