The Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru from Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine is a premium choice for lovers of Burgundy wines. This wine, grown in one of the most renowned areas, the Clos du Roi in Corton, is famous for its complex structure and distinctive aromatic profile. It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, carefully selected to ensure the highest quality.

The color of Corton Clos du Roi is a deep ruby red, which heralds the olfactory richness perceived on the nose: notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry mingle with nuances of sweet spices and a light touch of vanilla, deriving from aging in French oak barrels. On the palate, the wine reveals itself as structured, with soft yet persistent tannins that perfectly balance with the acidity. The finish is long and pleasantly aromatic.

Perfect to serve with rich dishes such as roast red meats, game, or aged cheeses, the Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru promises to evolve beautifully for several years if stored under optimal conditions. A true jewel of Burgundy that will enrich any wine collection.

Region: Borgogna (Côte de Beaune)
Country: Francia
Founded: 1879
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Aligoté
Based in Pernand-Vergelesses, at the meeting point between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. Range of appellations from Burgundy to Premier Cru and Grand Cru. Agricultural practices focused on respect for the soil and on quality. Production includes both notable whites and reds from parcels in Aloxe-Corton, Pommard, Volnay, Savigny and Beaune. Monopoles and historic plots directly managed by the estate.
Winery history
Family-run for generations, the property is today led by Christine Gruère-Dubreuil together with her daughter Clémentine. Trade and import sources report that the domaine has historical roots dating back to the late 19th century and, over time, has consolidated holdings and parcels in the communes of Pernand-Vergelesses and other villages of the Côte de Beaune.
Production philosophy
The domaine prioritizes an approach focused on expressing the purity of the terroir: environmentally respectful cultivation practices, hand harvesting, careful grape selection and low-intervention winemaking to preserve the terroir’s transparency and authenticity. Aging combines stainless steel and wooden barrels with varying proportions of new wood depending on the appellation.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Pernand-Vergelesses, at the meeting point of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, the estate's vineyards extend across parcels and appellations of the Côte de Beaune, including Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Pommard, Beaune and Volnay. Production includes wines at the Burgundy, Village, Premier Cru and some Grand Cru levels.
