This Cote du Rhone, named "Poignee de Raisins," is a true expression of terroir produced by the renowned Domaine Gramenon winery. This wine captivates with its rich and complex profile, characterized by a harmonious blend of red fruits and spices. The nose opens with notes of ripe strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of black pepper, enticing for a first sip.

On the palate, the vivacity of red fruits is perfectly balanced with a mineral freshness and soft tannins, resulting in a palate that is both round and structured. The well-balanced acidity leads to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Produced using organic methods, this wine not only reflects Domaine Gramenon's sustainable philosophy but also promises a pure and authentic tasting experience. It is recommended to pair this Rhone gem with rich red meat dishes, spicy stews, or aged cheeses to enhance all its nuances.

Winery history
Founded in 1978 in Montbrison-sur-Lez by Philippe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry-Laurent, the estate has grown while maintaining a natural farming approach. After Philippe’s passing, Michèle continued to manage the estate together with the family, with their son Maxime-François involved in the estate’s wine projects.
Production philosophy
Vineyards are managed without synthetic chemicals, following biodynamic practices and with minimal intervention in the cellar: hand-harvesting, spontaneous fermentations and limited or no use of sulfites depending on the vintage. The stated goal is to produce lively, expressive, approachable wines that emphasize fruit and terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in Montbrison-sur-Lez in the Drôme provençale, at the foot of the Prealps. Hill vineyards sit at about 300–350 meters altitude on sandstone soils and layers of marine molasse; the estate also includes parcels in neighboring areas belonging to the northern part of the Côtes du Rhône appellation.
