The Cote Rotie - Cote Blonde from Domaine Rostaing represents an exceptional example of the winemaking tradition of the Rhone region in France. This wine is characterized by an interesting blend of Syrah, with a small percentage of Viognier, which helps refine the aroma and balance its powerful structure.
In color, it presents an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red. On the nose, it is rich with complex aromas ranging from ripe black fruit notes, such as blackberries and plums, to floral and spicy nuances, accentuated by the subtle presence of white pepper and anise. Aging in French oak barrels adds nuances of vanilla and tobacco that intertwine harmoniously.
On the palate, the Cote Rotie is robust and velvety, with a well-balanced tannic texture that promises excellent aging potential. The acidity is vibrant and supports a long and persistent finish, leaving a lingering aftertaste of wild berries and dark chocolate. Ideal for pairing with rich red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses. Certainly a wine that continues to evolve magnificently in the bottle.
