Cremant de Bourgogne Extra Brut from Chartron et Trébuchet presents itself as a dry, restrained sparkling wine, in keeping with the appellation. In the glass it shows fine mousse and a brilliant straw-yellow hue. On the nose there are discreet notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus peel and small flowers; overall the aromatic profile is fresh and direct, without excess. On the palate the Extra Brut style is confirmed: salinity and acidity are well balanced and support the sip, which remains clean and of good persistence, with a clean, dry finish.

It works well as an aperitif and pairs lightly with seafood starters, shellfish, sushi and fish dishes, but can also support fresh cheeses and more delicate preparations. Tasting is recommended at a cool temperature, avoiding too low a temperature that could flatten the aromas. Storage and service follow the usual rules for sparkling wines: preferably consume young to appreciate the freshness.

Winery history
Founded in 1984 by Jean‑René Chartron and Louis Trébuchet in Puligny‑Montrachet. In 2016 the house was acquired and revitalised under Maison François Martenot (Helfrich / Les Grands Chais de France) with investments to modernise vinification and ageing.
Production philosophy
Strict selection of parcels and growers, parcel-based vinifications, measured cellar intervention, controlled oak ageing and techniques aimed at expressing Burgundy terroir; low dosage on the crémants.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Côte de Beaune; historically in the 'golden triangle' Meursault–Puligny‑Montrachet–Chassagne‑Montrachet. The label works appellations from the Côte de Beaune up to Chablis and neighbouring areas of Greater Burgundy.
