More questions
Crémant du Jura Esprit Chard by Marcel Cabelier is a sparkling wine offering that presents itself with elegant simplicity. In the glass it shows a luminous straw-yellow colour and a fine bead; on the nose one can perceive delicate notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and a hint of bread crust, in a profile that remains fresh and flowing. The structure is restrained but present, with a balance that favours drinkability and gustatory clarity, suitable for those seeking a versatile sparkling wine without excessive pretension.
It works well as an aperitif and alongside light starters, delicate fish dishes and fresh or soft cheeses. It is recommended to serve well chilled, between 6 and 8 °C, in flutes or tulip glasses to appreciate the effervescence and subtle aromas. An ideal bottle for informal moments and convivial dinners, leaving room for simplicity and the pleasure of everyday drinking. It can also accompany dishes based on shellfish and delicate rice preparations.

The story
La Maison du Vigneron originated from the Compagnie des Grands Vins du Jura (late 1970s) and was taken over by the Helfrich family in 1986. Marcel Cabelier is the négociant brand. La Maison du Vigneron acquired Domaine de Savagny in 2002 and operates estate vineyards plus grower-suppliers in the southern Jura.
Production philosophy
Focus on showcasing Jura terroir using the méthode traditionnelle for sparkling wines, working with grower-suppliers, and applying sustainable practices (HVE certification reported from the 2020 vintage). Dedicated ageing facilities are used (vin jaune cellar, tunnel for sparkling ageing).
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and cellar: Crançot (commune of Hauteroche), Jura department; vineyards and production across Jura appellations (Côtes du Jura, Château-Chalon, L'Étoile, Arbois, Crémant du Jura, Macvin).
