This red wine from Marcel Cabelier brings together three references in its name: Pinot Nero, Côtes du Jura AOC and Vieilles Vignes. The appellation indicates a protected origin, while Vieilles Vignes is a term shown on the label; on its own, it does not specify the age of the vines or the production methods. As no vintage information or specific tasting notes are available, it is best to let the tasting reveal the wine’s character.

In general, the Pinot Nero grape can produce wines with delicate aromas, often recalling fruit, and a measured structure. These qualities can vary considerably from bottle to bottle. At the table, this style can accompany simply prepared meats, poultry, mushrooms and semi-aged cheeses. It may appeal to those wishing to explore a red wine from the Jura made with a grape known for its finesse, without assuming a particular profile before opening. Served alongside dishes with balanced flavours, it offers a good opportunity to appreciate its nuances.
