Descrizione

The Cuvee sparkling wine from the San Maurizio line produced by the Vallebelbo winery is a wine with an excellent quality/price ratio. A bubble made according to the Charmat method which demonstrates the ability of the Piedmont region to offer high-level wine products.

A sparkling wine produced with white grapes harvested with careful selection during the harvest.

In the glass it presents a pale straw yellow color with herbaceous reflections, with a fine and persistent perlage. The delicate floral scent inebriates the nose.

A particularly balanced sparkling wine, capable of offering the palate a dry flavour, characterized by the right level of acidity. Cuvee San Maurizio is a wine that lends itself to pairing with appetizers, first and second courses of fish as well as being particularly suitable for serving as an aperitif glass.

Winery history

Founded as a cooperative winery by local winegrowers, the cooperative tells a story of collaboration among the farming families of the Valle del Belbo. The company's website recalls the venture's collective origins and its development over the decades, with projects and collections that evoke its cooperative past and continued production.

Production philosophy

To enhance the work of member winegrowers and the Langhe landscape through an approach that blends rural tradition with oenological innovation; with attention to the territory's social responsibility and the identity of local productions.

Terroir and vineyards

The winery is rooted in the hills around Santo Stefano Belbo, in the heart of the Langhe. The area includes vineyards recognized for their quality, and some of the hills are part of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the area, the cooperative reports approximately 500 hectares of vineyards managed for its various production lines.
