The Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" in Jeroboam format, presented in an elegant wooden case, is one of the most prestigious and ambitious expressions of Tenuta Fertuna, a winery that has managed to attract the attention of enthusiasts for the quality of its wines and for innovation in the Tuscan wine tradition. Located in the Maremma, one of the most lively and dynamic areas of Tuscany, Tenuta Fertuna takes advantage of an exceptional terroir, capable of expressing wines of great character and depth.

The "Messiio", produced exclusively from Merlot grapes selected with the utmost care, represents the pinnacle of Tenuta Fertuna's production. The decision to offer this wine in Jeroboam format, equivalent to four standard bottles, and to present it in a wooden case, underlines the value and exclusivity of this wine, designed for the most special occasions and for optimal ageing.

The winemaking follows rigorous protocols that aim to preserve the integrity of the fruit and enhance the varietal characteristics of the Merlot, with refining in oak barriques which helps to integrate the tannins and enrich the wine with aromatic complexity. The result is a Merlot of extraordinary elegance and intensity, with a perfect balance between power and finesse.

Visually, the "Messiio" stands out for its intense and deep red color. On the nose, it offers a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, blend with accents of spices, chocolate and light toasting, creating an enveloping and inviting olfactory profile. In the mouth, the wine surprises with its roundness and depth, with silky and well-integrated tannins that lead to a long and persistent finish, marked by a delicious vein of freshness that invites subsequent tasting.

Ideal for preserving and maturing thanks to the Jeroboam format, "Messiio" lends itself magnificently to pairing with rich and structured dishes, such as red meats, game and mature cheeses. The presentation in a wooden case also makes it a highly prestigious gift for wine lovers and a prominent element in the most refined cellars.

In summary, the Merlot DOC Maremma Toscana "Messiio" in Jeroboam format and wooden case from Tenuta Fertuna is a true treasure of Tuscan viticulture, a wine that embodies the passion, expertise and uniqueness of the Maremma terroir , offering an unparalleled tasting experience.
