With a vivid ruby color, this Dolcetto d'Alba 2024 from Mario Marengo offers an immediate, pleasant bouquet: juicy red fruits, cherry and subtle floral hints over a lightly almonded background that runs through the palate. The impact is fresh and direct, with soft tannins and a structure that remains slim yet well defined; its smooth, easy-drinking nature makes it recognizable for its straightforwardness more than for complexity, inviting a second glass without heaviness.

Suitable for an informal but carefully set table, it pairs easily with Piedmontese first courses, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses, or with white meat and mushroom dishes; it is also ideal as an aperitif wine for those seeking an honest, immediate profile. Serve at around 14–16 °C to appreciate its freshness and the purity of the fruit; recommended to be enjoyed young, when the fruity character is at its best, with no pretensions for long aging.
