Edea Franciacorta DOCG Brut Blanc de Blancs in magnum format by Mirabella presents an elegant, restrained profile intended for moments of sharing. In the glass it shows a luminous straw-yellow color and a fine mousse; on the nose there are delicate notes of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit and light crusty bread hints, balanced with freshness. The palate is fresh and saline, with bubbles present but never intrusive, and a balanced finish that invites another sip.

This Franciacorta is versatile at the table: it works as an aperitif, to accompany fish starters and light dishes, but also holds up alongside more structured courses without overpowering them. Winery history

Founded in 1979 by Teresio Schiavi with Giacomo Cavalli; the Mirabella vineyard produced its first wine in 1981. Initially located in Paderno Franciacorta, moved to Rodengo Saiano in 1982. Currently manages about 45 hectares registered to the DOCG Franciacorta.

Production philosophy

Production focused on quality, territorial protection and sustainability: an integrated pest-management protocol favoring biological methods, multi-residue testing, use of 100% renewable energy since 2012 (COFER certificate), and reduction of allergens/preservatives (e.g. Demetra line without added sulfites). Family-run (Schiavi) with emphasis on Pinot Blanc.

Terroir and vineyards

About 45 hectares of vineyards in the central-eastern Franciacorta area (communes of Paderno Franciacorta, Passirano, Bornato, Provaglio d’Iseo); on medium-textured morainic soils, fresh and well-drained.
