Of great finesse, this Grande Champagne Extra expresses the character of its origin with balance and depth. On the nose it opens with ripe dried fruit, figs and plums, evolving toward notes of vanilla, chestnut honey and a gentle toast: not intrusive but layered. The aromatic texture is orderly, with expressive clarity that leaves room for subtle spicy notes and a background of sweet wood; on the palate the sip is soft, warm and enveloping, with polished tannins and a pleasant savoriness that supports the palate. The finish is warm, with returns of cooked fruit and bitter cocoa, and the persistence remains elegant without weighing down.

It lends itself to contemplation or an after-dinner pairing with dark chocolate, aged cheeses or dried-fruit desserts; serve slightly cool in a tulip glass to collect the aromas. The boxed presentation enhances the display, making it perfect as an elegant gift or for convivial moments; Daniel Bouju’s signature for Folonari remains sober and measured, ideal for those seeking aromatic concentration and purity in the sip.
