The Franciacorta Brut from Solouva stands out for its elegance and balance. The color is a light straw yellow with brilliant reflections. The bubbles are fine and persistent, a sign of high quality and care in winemaking. On the nose, the wine is rich in aromas: white flowers, white-fleshed fruit like peach, and slight notes of toasted bread and yeast, resulting from the long aging on the lees.

On the palate, the Franciacorta Brut DOCG by Solouva is fresh and lively, with a good acidity that balances the alcoholic structure. The flavors of fresh fruit blend harmoniously with the more mature and complex ones, leaving a sensation of fullness and persistence.

SoloUva – Winery in Lombardia

Discover the story and wines of SoloUva.

A small Franciacorta producer of bottle‑fermented sparkling wines made according to the "Metodo SoloUva": the secondary fermentation and subsequent dosage are carried out using must from the same grapes rather than exogenous sugars.
Region: Lombardia
Country: Italia
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Metodo SoloUva: second fermentation and dosage conducted with must from the same grapes, without exogenous sugars. Franciacorta produced in Brut, Zero Dosage and Rosé styles. Vineyards located in Franciacorta, in the province of Brescia. Small estate with approximately 1.5 hectares under vine. Associated with the TerraUomoCielo project and with local figures such as Arcari and Danesi.
Winery history
The project originated as part of the collective initiative associated with TerraUomoCielo and counts among its founding figures Giovanni Arcari and Nico Danesi; operational management is entrusted to Andrea Rudelli. The winery cultivates vineyards in the Franciacorta area and has developed around the idea of producing sparkling wines that express the local terroir without adding external sugars during secondary fermentation and dosage.
Production philosophy
The winery employs the so-called Metodo SoloUva: grapes are harvested at full phenolic ripeness, and part of the sugar-rich must obtained from pressing is set aside and used both to initiate bottle re-fermentation and as the dosage liquid after disgorging, avoiding the addition of externally sourced sugars. The approach aims to highlight Franciacorta’s territorial identity and the varietal characteristics of the grapes.
Terroir and vineyards
Franciacorta, vineyards located in the municipalities of Adro and Erbusco. Company address listed: Via Costa Sopra 22, Erbusco. The area is characterised by morainic soils and climatic influences from the nearby Lake Iseo, favourable to the production of quality sparkling wines.
