The Friuli Isonzo DOC Sauvignon "Piere" from Vie di Romans is a white wine that focuses on freshness and precision. In the glass it is clear, with aromas recalling ripe citrus, white peach and light herbaceous notes typical of Sauvignon. The nose maintains a balance between the fruity component and vegetal sensation, without excess; the colour is pale straw and invites drinking young to enjoy the aromatic vibrancy. Ideal as an aperitif or to accompany seafood starters, raw fish and light vegetable dishes. Serve cool, around 8–10 °C, to highlight drinkability and acidity.

On the palate it shows immediate drinkability, with lively acidity that supports the body and gives drive to the tasting. The persistence is moderate, with returns of grapefruit and a slightly herbaceous finish that recalls the grape's typicity. It is a pleasant wine, suited to those seeking cleanliness and linearity rather than developed complexity; it can accompany everyday meals or be chosen for informal gatherings with friends. Store in a cool place and drink within a few years to best appreciate its freshness.
