Let’s talk about Garnacha Blanca A (Su Richiesta) - LoAlto

More questions

The Garnacha Blanca offered by LoAlto is a white wine with a clean, direct aromatic profile. On the nose there are notes of white-fleshed fruit, citrus and white flowers, with hints of almond and a slight saline streak that contributes to balance. Aromatic intensity is moderate; on the palate the wine shows medium body, a pleasant acidity that supports drinkability, and an elegant structure with a clean, flowing finish. Overall it is balanced and approachable, suitable for those seeking a luminous wine without excess.

It pairs with light starters, fish dishes, shellfish and vegetables, as well as fresh cheeses; it also works well as an aperitif or to accompany lighter Mediterranean cuisine. It is suitable for everyday drinking and informal meals, while offering versatility for different occasions. As it is available on request from LoAlto, it is recommended to contact the seller for availability. Store in a cool, dark place and serve chilled (around 8–10 °C) to appreciate its liveliness.

The story
The Casa Lo Alto estate sits on a hill in Venta del Moro, in the Requena-Utiel comarca. Official sources report somewhat inconsistent historical information: the English version of the website refers to the vineyard’s establishment in 1794/1796, while a section of the Spanish site indicates the winery was founded in 1976. What is clearly documented is the acquisition of the estate by Bodegas Murviedro in 2017; since then the LoAlto project has been developed as a range focused on single-vineyard wines that express the terroir.
Production philosophy
An approach that places the fusion between vineyard and natural environment at its core: respectful farming practices, minimal intervention in the cellar, and the goal of expressing the typicity of each paraje in the bottle.
Terroir and vineyards
The finca is situated in Venta del Moro. Altitude is reported at around 750 metres; the soils are described as clay-limestone with a sedimentary calcareous matrix. The estate's landscape includes vineyards, almond groves and wooded areas that contribute to the site's biodiversity.
Awards and recognition
Official sources report recent recognitions: the producer's news mentions a Gold Medal for Bobal in international competitions and high guide ratings.
