The Moscato d'Asti Magnum Astucciato by Gianni Doglia represents excellence in the panorama of Italian sweet wines, ideal for those who appreciate aromatic wines with great elegance. Produced in the renowned hills of Asti, recognized for their viticultural excellence, this wine stands out for its intensely aromatic fragrance and its sweet, yet balanced flavor.

The winemaking follows traditional methods that preserve the characteristic aroma of the Moscato grape. Fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures, followed by a short aging period in the bottle which helps enhance the harmony and complexity of the flavor. The Moscato d’Asti Magnum by Gianni Doglia presents itself with a very light straw-yellow color and a fine, persistent effervescence.

On the nose, the bouquet is dominated by intense notes of sage, white peach, and delicate hints of citrus that combine to create a fresh and inviting scent. On the palate, the elegant sweetness is perfectly balanced by the acidity, making the wine surprisingly fresh and enjoyable to drink.

This Moscato d’Asti is often chosen to accompany light desserts, fresh fruit, and is excellent to serve as an aperitif. The Magnum format makes it ideal for special occasions, ensuring a unique and memorable sharing moment, while the boxed presentation adds a touch of class and sophistication to the tasting experience.

A wine that embodies the joy of the Piedmont hills, the Moscato d'Asti Magnum Astucciato by Gianni Doglia is an excellent choice for those seeking a wine that offers a perfect balance between natural sweetness and vibrant freshness.

Winery history
The family story begins with Eugenio Rivella, who in 1947 purchased land in the Annunziata hamlet of Castagnole delle Lanze to produce wine from his own grapes. Over the years management passed to the next generation and, from the late 1990s/early 2000s, to their son Gianni, an oenologist trained in enology and viticulture who has led the estate through its growth. From 2000 Gianni took direct charge of the estate, and in 2001 he vinified Moscato d'Asti from the family vineyards for the first time. In 2013 his sister Paola joined the business full-time. In 2022 Gianni was selected by Gambero Rosso as Winemaker of the Year.
