This Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG from Hatteso expresses notable aromatic richness and structure: in the glass it shows a deep colour and an aromatic profile of ripe red and black fruit, jammy notes and delicate spicy nuances. The concentration is pronounced without feeling heavy; savouriness and acidity work together with well-integrated tannins to give balance and lift to the palate. The magnum format, ideal for more consistent development, enhances the complexity and depth typical of the Riserva.

On the palate the wine is warm and enveloping, with a long persistence in which notes of cherry, plum, sweet tobacco and dark chocolate emerge; the tannin is savoury and smooth, the finish elegant and lingering. It is enjoyable both for quiet contemplation and at the table: it accompanies structured dishes such as braised meats and game, very aged cheeses or even chocolate-based desserts; it is advisable to open in advance or decant to allow its complexity to unfold.
