The Trebbiano from the Marani winery offers an excellent example of this traditionally Italian varietal. This wine presents itself with a clear and bright straw-yellow hue, typical of Trebbiano. On the nose, the Trebbiano surprises with its freshness and liveliness, with aromatic notes of white-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, enriched by floral nuances and a light touch of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine expresses a pleasant acidity that perfectly balances its medium structure, making it extremely drinkable and suitable for various consumption occasions. The aromatic persistence is pleasantly long, leaving sensations of freshness and cleanliness on the palate. Perfect to pair with light fish dishes, seafood, or as an aperitif. The Trebbiano by Marani is an ideal choice for those looking for a refined yet accessible white wine.

Winery history
Amarano was founded as a family-run estate in the Montemarano area of Alta Irpinia. Public sources report the business began in 2004; management is carried out by family members who oversee both the farming and the winemaking decisions. Over time the estate has focused its production on the area's traditional grape varieties, favoring extended aging for the reds and lees contact for the whites.
Production philosophy
The winery declares a strong connection to the tradition of Irpinia: it primarily produces wine from native grape varieties, maintains low yields, reduces the use of chemical products by adopting integrated pest management protocols, and limits the use of sulfites. In the cellar, stainless-steel fermentations alternate with aging in barriques and large casks to enhance the wines' structure and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Montemarano, in the heart of Irpinia, the estate cultivates vineyards situated on hills of predominantly volcanic and sandy origin, at elevations of around 500–700 m above sea level. The area is characterized by marked diurnal temperature variation and soils that enhance acidity, minerality and structure in the wines.
