The Langhe DOC Arneis Montebertotto from Castello di Neive is a luminous and fascinating expression of Arneis, one of the most noble and characteristic white vines of Piedmont. This wine comes from vineyards located in one of the most suitable areas for the cultivation of this vine, offering a showcase of the Castello di Neive's ability to produce wines that fully express the typicality and complexity of the territory.

Wine Profile: The Langhe DOC Arneis Montebertotto presents itself with a bright straw yellow color, reflecting its youth and freshness. On the nose, the wine unfolds an intensely fragrant aromatic bouquet, dominated by notes of white pulp fruit such as pear and green apple, enriched by floral accents of chamomile and nuances of fresh almond, typical of Arneis. There is no shortage of touches of minerality, which add depth and complexity to the olfactory profile.

In the mouth, freshness is the protagonist, with a lively acidity that balances the structure of the wine and underlines its fruity and floral notes. The texture is round but elegant, with a pleasant aftertaste that recalls olfactory sensations and leaves a long and refreshing persistence.

Gastronomic Pairings: This Arneis is incredibly versatile at the table, suitable both as an aperitif and in combination with a wide variety of dishes. It goes beautifully with light appetizers, salads, fish and seafood dishes, as well as with vegetarian cuisine and chicken or turkey dishes. Its acidity and freshness also make it an excellent complement to slightly spicy dishes or with a herbaceous component.

The Langhe DOC Arneis Montebertotto from Castello di Neive is an example of Piedmont's ability to produce white wines of the highest quality, which stand out for their elegance, drinkability and ability to faithfully represent the grape variety and territory of origin. It is a wine which, with its freshness and aromaticity, invites you to discover the many facets of Arneis, one of the Piedmontese white vines par excellence.

Winery history
The estate is housed in an 18th-century noble palace. The Stupino family began modern operations in the 1960s and has owned the Castello since 1964; over time it has reorganized historic vineyards and renovated the cellars. Among the most frequently mentioned company developments are the enhancement of the Santo Stefano vineyard and the opening, in 2016, of “La Casetta del Castello” as a space for tours and tastings.
Production philosophy
It combines traditional roots with a modern approach: emphasis on the terroir and individual vineyards, separate vinifications for the finest parcels, use of the historic cellar for oak aging alongside modern technical facilities, and sustainability-oriented practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the municipality of Neive, in the heart of the Langhe, the estate benefits from historic vineyards including Santo Stefano, Gallina, Messoirano, Montebertotto, i Cortini, Marcorino, Basarin and Valtorta. The Santo Stefano vineyard is often noted for its distinctive exposure and microclimate and is mapped in the estate's historical records.
