The Langhe DOC Rosato "Rosa d'Agosto" from Oddero is a tribute to the lightness and elegance of summer in the Langhe, an area renowned for its scenic beauty and its rich wine tradition. This wine was born from Oddero's desire to explore new expressions of the Piedmontese terroir, using typical varietals of the region to create a rosé that combines freshness, fragrance and complexity impeccably.

Produced with Nebbiolo grapes, the "Rosa d'Agosto" reflects Oddero's skill in working with this noble vine, presenting it in an unusual but equally fascinating guise. The grapes are harvested manually and vinified with the aim of preserving the primary aromas and natural acidity, essential characteristics for a high-quality rosé.

Visually, the wine presents a pale and delicate pink color, with nuances reminiscent of rose petals. On the nose, "August Rose" offers a rich and inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of fresh red fruits such as strawberries and cherries, enriched by floral hints and a light mineral note that gives elegance and depth.

In the mouth, Oddero rosé is fresh and lively, with a perfect balance between crisp acidity and fruitiness. Its structure is subtle but persistent, with flavors that faithfully reflect the olfactory sensations and conclude in a clean and refreshing finish. This drinkability makes it an extremely versatile wine at the table.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light appetizers, summer salads, fish dishes and white meats, the "August Rose" is also perfect with ethnic cuisine, where its freshness can balance spicy and intense flavors.

With its Langhe DOC Rosato "Rosa d'Agosto", Oddero once again demonstrates its oenological mastery and its deep bond with the Langhe territory, offering a wine that is a pure expression of the summer season and which invites us to celebrate joy and the beauty of sunny days among the Piedmontese vineyards.

Winery history
The Oddero family has been in La Morra since the 18th century; the modern estate dates from 1878, when the first Giacomo Oddero began bottling wines under the family name. In the 20th century, the management of Giacomo helped consolidate the estate’s reputation; today the business is run by the next generations, who maintain the family tradition while expanding the vineyards and production.
Production philosophy
The winery aims to express the terroir by working with careful attention in the vineyard and with respect for the environment: organic practices and sustainable management are adopted to showcase the individual crus and preserve the heritage of the Langhe. In the cellar, priority is given to preserving the integrity of the grapes and to aging in large casks for wines that evolve over time.
