Litaj is a red wine that comes from a premium selection that includes the best red grapes of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, harvested in vineyards cultivated on land overlooking the Litani River in Lebanon.
When poured it appears of an intense red color with violet reflections. On the nose it is elegant and particularly rich in aromas of red fruits accompanied by floral aromas of violet and notes of mint. The sip is full-bodied, round and structured; a complex glass, full of notes of red fruits and dark chocolate with a long spicy finish of black pepper, cedar wood and very pleasant and persistent tobacco.
It is recommended to combine it with red meat, game and lamb. The combination with cured meats is also excellent.
