The Manca Cannonau di Sardegna DOC shows in the glass a sincere Mediterranean stamp: aromas of ripe red fruit, plum skin and a light hint of maquis that gives depth without affectation. The sip is warm and enveloping, with a medium‑full body, soft tannins and a freshness that balances the density; a savory note frames the finish, which remains clean and pleasant without excess. It’s a wine with character, immediate but with enough structure to accompany a meal. It suits everyday drinking but also rewards more convivial evenings.

It pairs well with typical island dishes or roasted meats, flavorful ragùs and hard cheeses; it also works nicely with mushroom dishes and grilled vegetables. Serve slightly cool compared with room temperature to preserve its freshness and aromas, and give it a few minutes in a decanter or in the opened bottle if you wish to further soften the tannins. A versatile companion for informal dinners and convivial occasions.

Terroir and vineyards
