Mantico Barbaresco DOCG di Bersano presents a refined, linear profile: on the nose there are sensations of ripe red fruit, rose petal and a hint of undergrowth that adds depth, while the spicy notes remain discreet and well integrated. The palate shows a measured balance between freshness and structure; the acidity supports the sip, the tannins are noticeable but polished, and the progression is clean without weighing down. Overall it is elegant and easy to drink, with a persistence that invites a second taste.

On the palate it displays a texture suited to savory dishes: it pairs gracefully with braised meats, medium-structured roasts and mushroom risottos, as well as with aged cheeses that aren’t overly oxidized. To better appreciate its character a light decanting or a few hours of bottle opening is recommended; serve around 16–18 °C to enhance the aromas without dulling the freshness. A solid choice for those seeking a Barbaresco of pedigree, capable of accompanying the table with restraint and character.
