This Merlot IGT, offered by Santa Barbara in the Mossone line, shows an intense ruby color with violet reflections. On the nose it offers recalls of ripe red fruit, plum and light spicy notes, with subtle herbaceous hints that add complexity without dominating. The palate is soft on entry, with gentle tannins and a medium-bodied structure that supports the flavors without being intrusive. The overall impression is measured and accessible, ideal for those seeking a characterful everyday red.

The drinking experience is balanced, with restrained acidity promoting pleasant drinkability; the finish is discreet and leaves fruity traces and a light spice. It pairs well with flavorful first courses, white meats, cold cuts and semi-firm cheeses, and can also stand up to dishes with not overly structured tomato sauces. Serve around 16–18 °C and open a few minutes beforehand to better appreciate the aromas. Storage indications or technical details are not provided on the packaging; for more precise information consult the label or the producer.
