With a lively ruby color, this Merlot Rubicone IGT signed by Austo shows an immediate, focused profile: ripe red fruit and subtle plum notes intertwine with a touch of sweet spice and a herbaceous hint that keeps the sip fresh and clear. The approach is balanced, with soft yet present tannins that define the structure without weighing it down; the finish is pleasant, with fruity echoes that invite a second taste.

On the palate it confirms itself as an easy-drinking wine, with medium body and a roundness that does not sacrifice liveliness or savouriness. It’s versatile at the table: it naturally accompanies tomato-based first courses, flavorful white meats, light roasts and semi-aged cheeses. Recommended to serve around 16–18 °C, slightly cooler in summer to highlight its freshness. A sincere choice for those seeking a Merlot with a pleasant, everyday character, suitable for informal gatherings as well as regional cuisine dishes.
