Mezcal Durango from Clase Azul presents a surprisingly balanced and clean aromatic profile. On the nose there are delicate smoky notes intertwined with hints of ripe citrus, herbal nuances and mineral touches that give way to a slightly sweet background. The bottle and brand communication suggest attention to visual care, while the liquid shows clarity and an olfactory structure that invites exploration without excess.

On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a structure that favors balance between alcoholic warmth and aromatic freshness; the smoky components remain present but well integrated, accompanied by citrus returns and a persistent finish of dried herbs and light spices. It is suited to slow tasting at room temperature or slightly chilled, in wide glasses that enhance the bouquet. Recommended as a contemplative tasting experience or paired with grilled dishes and aged cheeses, always in moderation to better appreciate the complexity.
