The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva from Marina Cvetic shows an intense ruby color, clear and lively. On the nose it offers a fragrant profile where ripe red fruits, plum and cherry emerge, accompanied by subtle spicy hints and undergrowth notes that contribute to a balanced and pleasant expression. Alcoholic presence and aromatic texture are well integrated, without excess, conveying a decided but composed personality.

On the palate it confirms a solid structure, with present but smoothed tannins, good acidity and a medium-long persistence that again recalls the fruity and spicy impressions perceived on the nose. It pairs with roasted or braised meats, medium- and long-aged cheeses and savory pasta dishes; suitable for those seeking a red with territorial identity and some capacity to evolve in bottle. The drinking experience is smooth and inviting, fit for convivial moments as well as more reflective consumption. Also ideal with flavorful cured meats and traditional dishes from Abruzzo. Serve at around 16–18 °C.

Winery history
The Marina Cvetic line was created in 1991 by Gianni Masciarelli and dedicated to Marina Cvetic. The line aims to showcase Abruzzo's enological potential using both native and international grape varieties.
