Mosconi Barolo DOCG by Piero Benevelli embodies the classic character of Nebbiolo: aromas of withered rose and black cherry, with hints of licorice, sweet tobacco and a mineral note that refines the aromatic profile. On the palate it shows good tension and a measured balance between vibrant acidity and tannins that are present but polished; the texture is concentrated without feeling heavy, with a progression that evolves from fruit to spicy and earthy notes. The depth is evident from the first impression and the acidic drive makes the sip dynamic; the tannic framework supports a medium-long persistent finish, which invites new impressions as the wine opens.

It pairs with structured dishes such as braises, roast beef and aged cheeses, but also works well with mushroom-based preparations or rich sauces; an initial decanting improves its openness and brings out its warmer, more complex tones. Serve at a moderate temperature and in large glasses to appreciate the final persistence, made up of fruity returns and balanced savoriness; it is suited to moderate cellar aging for those who wish to follow its evolution.
