The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG 2016 by Torraccia is a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of the Piedmontese territory, specifically the Ghemme area, in the province of Novara. Produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, this wine best expresses the characteristics of one of the noblest varieties of Piedmont, thanks to a long and careful aging process that enhances the structure and harmony of the sip.

In the glass, it shows an intense garnet red color, accompanied by a rich and complex bouquet where notes of ripe small red fruits emerge, combined with spicy and balsamic hints typical of Nebbiolo. On the palate, it is enveloping, endowed with good well-integrated tannins, which ensure longevity and depth.

Perfect with traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as braised meats and roasts, the Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG 2016 by Torraccia represents a refined choice for those seeking a territorial wine that combines elegance and power.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
