Allumea's Nero d'Avola Sicilia Bio DOP presents a straightforward and pleasant character, the result of authenticity more than of constructed effects. On the nose ripe red and black fruits emerge, plum and a note of dark cherry that harmonizes with a herbaceous hint of Mediterranean scrub and a light spiciness. The approach is clean, with the mark of organic farming translating into fragrant, not over‑extracted fruit; the tannic texture is present but taut, and the acidity holds the sip without making it rigid.

On the palate the wine is full and fluid, with good juiciness and a persistence that recalls the primary aromas, plus a slightly savory finish. It is suited to daily enjoyment and to standing up to hearty dishes: ragù and tomato sauces, grilled meats, medium‑aged cheeses and flavorful pizzas. Appropriate for informal tables and convivial moments, it benefits from a short decanting; serve slightly cool, around 16-18 °C, to appreciate its balance and natural softness.
