The Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC from Torre Saracena shows an intense ruby colour, transparent at the edges. On the nose it opens with ripe red fruit and sour cherries, accompanied by plum notes and light spicy hints; a Mediterranean profile recalls aromatic herbs and black pepper. On the palate it has balanced body, soft tannins and a pleasant acidity that supports the structure, with fruity returns and an almond-tinged persistence on the finish. The tactile sensation is enveloping, with a savory finish that invites a second sip.

It is a versatile red: pairs with pasta with meat sauces, grilled meats, roasts and semi-firm cheeses. Recommended serving temperature around 16–18 °C and a large glass to appreciate its aromas; a short aeration can help open the bouquet.
