The Nizza DOCG Barbera 'Pontiselli' by Coppo is a red wine that expresses the character of Barbera within the Nizza appellation. Deep in color, it offers aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by delicate spice hints and floral notes. The structure is lively and well balanced by the grape's typical acidity; tannins are present but smooth, giving harmony and persistence on the palate.

On the palate it shows fruity notes and sapidity, with a long finish recalling fruit and a light spiciness. It pairs well with Piedmontese and Italian dishes: red meats, roasts, game in not overly complex preparations, aged cheeses and pasta with a rich ragù. A short decanting before serving and a serving temperature around 16–18 °C are recommended to appreciate its balance and nuances. Also suitable with mushroom-based dishes.
