The Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC "Riserva Berg Schulthaus" from St. Michel Eppan shows a delicate straw-yellow colour, clear and bright. On the nose it opens with discreet notes of Golden apple, pear and white flowers, accompanied by light almond nuances and a mineral impression that supports its elegance. On the palate it displays medium body, balanced freshness and measured acidity that provides smoothness; the finish is clean and of good persistence, with fruity returns that invite another sip.

Versatile, it pairs delicately with fish dishes, shellfish, white meats and fresh cheeses, but can also stand up to mushroom-based preparations or creamy risottos. Serving suggestions: serve at around 10–12 °C in large glasses to enhance the aromas; enjoyable young for its freshness, it is also suitable for those seeking a white wine of structure and finesse for both formal and informal occasions.

Winery history

Terroir and vineyards
Appiano on the Wine Road (Eppan) — vineyards on sunny slopes between about 400–900 m asl (Monte Appiano, areas around Lake Monticolo), planted on the area's typical limestone and gravel soils.
